Important Visa Information

If you are a national of certain countries, you may be asked to obtain a VISA to enter Japan.

You may also get information from your local travel agent, and your local Japanese Embassy or Consulate-General Office of Japan.

A document fee and full payment of registration fee are required.
You will also be asked to submit a letter in English (PDF) from your organization guaranteeing that you work/study in the field related to the IFFS2025 Congress.
The Organizing Committee will review your application before issuing the documents.
Please note that payment of document/registration fees do not guarantee your entry to Japan.
One must enter Japan within 3 months after the visa is issued, so we plan to start sending visa documents in mid-January.
Details will be announced in December.

Important Note

• All costs associated with visa application documents will be borne by the participants.
• If the required information is missing, document processing will take time. Your prompt action is highly recommended.
• Once you receive the documents from the organizer, you must submit these documents along with other documents specified by the Japanese Embassy or Consulate General of Japan. You are responsible for making the necessary arrangements for these documents, and the organizer or secretariat office does not take any responsibility for the success/failure of the application.
• Please also note that the organizer/secretariat will not cover the cost of the VISA application.
