CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS) Scientific Committee invites you to participate in the 2025 World Congress through the submission of scientific abstracts for presentation. Abstracts will be peer reviewed by the scientific committee. Acceptance will be based on content, available space, and overall program balance. Both Oral and Poster abstract formats will be provided during the Congress. All abstract submissions must be made electronically through IFFS2025’ online abstract submission system.
Abstract proposals can be submitted for either an oral or poster presentation in one of the following categories:

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES AND GENERAL POLICIES
Abstracts Guidelines
Authors assume complete responsibility for the data at the time of submission.
The abstract must contain original work. If the abstract was published or presented at a meeting of another national or international scientific organization, it must contain all citations.
Abstracts are expected to be approved or exempted by the appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB) with jurisdiction or equivalent if any human subjects or any human materials were utilized.
Commercial and financial relationships, that represent potential conflicts, must be disclosed through the online Abstract Submission platform. Include each author’s first name, initial, last name, degree(s), and email address on their disclosure page.
An author on multiple abstracts need only complete one disclosure. All author names should be included at the time of submission. IFFS is not responsible for missing, excluded, or misspelled names that the submitting author leaves off or misspells during the submission process. All author names will be printed in the program book exactly how they are entered into the system by the submitting author.

All decisions by the Scientific Congress Committee are final. Dates and times of presentations will be assigned and cannot be altered.
All authors agree to abide by IFFS policies pertaining to submission, publication, and presentation of abstracts.
Submission of an abstract for consideration for presentation implies that the presenting author intends to attend the meeting to present his/her work.
Language
All abstracts should be submitted and presented in English, which is the official language of the conference, using accurate grammar and spelling suitable for publication. If in doubt, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a native English speaker or by a university scientific publications office (or other similar facility) prior to submission, as it will be reproduced exactly as submitted. No proofreading will be done by the secretariat office.
First Author, Corresponding Author, Presenting Author
The abstract submission form should be completed by the First Author, who will be the Corresponding Author, and will be responsible for all future communications regarding the submitted abstract.
First Author (Corresponding author) should be the Presenting Author of the submitted paper.
Only one abstract can be submitted per person as a First, Corresponding, Presenting author.
However, their names could be included as co-authors of abstracts submitted by others.
Account
Each submitter (Corresponding Author) is required to create a user account indicating an account email address and a password. The email and password indicated will be used for all online forms of the Meeting (i.e. Registration Form).
Abstract Title
Abstract title should be brief and reflect the content of the abstract. The limit for the title is 50 words.
The abstract title should be typed in lower-case letters, except for abbreviations and study names. Please be careful that your title might be truncated if you copy and paste it into the field.
Do not refer to study results or conclusions in the title of the abstract. The title should objectively describe the study.

Presentation type
Authors are invited to express their preference for oral or poster presentation; the final assignment will be made by the Scientific Committee.
Category/Topic
Authors are invited to select the Category and the topic that better fits the scope of their abstract among the meeting topics; the final assignment will be made by the Scientific Committee.
Authors
Names of authors should be written in upper/lower cases in the following way: {Full name with first letter in upper case (e.g. John)} {Surname (Family Name) with first letter in upper case (e.g. Smith)}
Please enter the first name in full, followed by the surname (Family Name), for each author, without abbreviations (e.g. John Smith, and NOT J. Smith).
Each abstract can have a maximum of 25 authors.
Affiliations
The Affiliations should be written in upper/lower cases and should include: Department, Institution/Hospital, City, State (if relevant), Country
Text Body
The text (excluding title, authors, and affiliations) should not exceed 350 words.
Organize the abstract according to four sections, identified by the following headers:
Introduction
Methods
Results
Conclusions
For case reports, narrative format is also accepted.
Place abbreviations in parentheses immediately after the first mention of a term or phrase; the abbreviation can then be used throughout the abstract.
Table(s), Figures and photographs may be included (up to 2 in total).
Describe the objectives and results of the research in the abstract so that the Abstract Evaluation Committee can evaluate the quality, originality, and completeness of the abstract.
Abstracts will be judged solely on the basis of the data in the submitted abstract.
Replacing or correcting an abstract submission
Replacement or correction must be made through the online abstract submission platform.
Contact the IFFS World Congress 2025 Secretariat at reg-iffs2025@c-linkage.co.jp to request for corrections after the submission deadline.
Note: Corrections may not be accepted depending on the content or timing of the notification.
Registration of the authors
Registration of First Author (Corresponding, Presenting Author)
First authors (Corresponding and Presenting Authors) are expected to attend the IFFS World Congress 2025 and are required to pay the registration fee and all expenses involved. The presentation of the abstract and its publication in the Final Program and the Abstract Book is conditional upon payment of the registration fee by the First Author.
Please note that in case we do not receive the requested payment, the abstract, much to our regret, will not be included neither in the Abstract Book nor in the Scientific Program of the Congress.
Authors registration deadline is 31 January 2025.

Grant application
The IFFS World Congress 2025 Organizing Committee is offering free registrations to those who present outstanding research/clinical results at the IFFS World Congress 2025.
Eligible applicants:
- Those submitting their papers as corresponding authors,
- Those who will be 40 years of age or younger at the time of the Congress (April 2025), and
- Applicants may be residents of any country/region.
If you are interested in applying for this grant, please check the "Apply for Grant" box and submit a document proving your age at the time of the Congress, when submitting your paper.
